awkward moment

so i was sitting in sixth hour and we had to do this thing with partners. i couldn't pick my partner. i was with this dude. and after we were done discussing, THE MOST AWKWARD THING HAPPENED.

i always carry around this humongous pouch of candy. i took a starburst out of it and started to unwrap it. then i noticed.. the kid was staring at me. with a faint smile.

i was like... what? and he didn't say anything. just stayed like that.

i was having trouble unwrapping it. the whole time he was still staring at me.

i was like what?! again. HE JUST KEPT FREAKING STARING AND SMILING.

at this point i was scared. i already unwrapped it. i turned away and stuck the starburst in my mouth. i turned back to him.

HE WAS STILL FREAKING STARING.

i chewed slowly. very cautiously. and swallowed.

that was really scary. i mean really. i'm still traumatized.
